There is nothing to pair. ToolPiper serves the ModelPiper app itself, at
127.0.0.1:9998 on your Mac, so the app is connected the moment it opens:
no token to paste and no connect button to click. modelpiper.com never talks to
a local ToolPiper at all. Its buttons hand the request to the Mac app instead.
The ModelPiper app
Open it with Launch App at the top right of ToolPiper's window. ToolPiper serves the page and writes its own key into it as it does, so every request the app makes is already authorized. Nothing about that key leaves your Mac.

A button on the site that needs ToolPiper, such as Ask or Activate, opens a
toolpiper:// link. Your browser asks whether to open ToolPiper, and once you
allow it the Mac app comes forward and carries on from there. The site itself
sends no request to your machine.
It says ToolPiper is not connected
- Check ToolPiper is actually up. ToolPiper shows a window and a menu bar icon. If neither is there, ToolPiper is not running and nothing local is listening.
- Allow the browser's prompt. A site button does nothing visible until you answer the browser's question about opening ToolPiper. Dismissing it cancels the handoff.
- Open the app from ToolPiper. If the app will not load from a saved link, use Launch App in ToolPiper's window, which opens the page ToolPiper is serving right now.
If you have no Mac app installed
The page search still works: it runs entirely in your browser and searches the site. What needs ToolPiper is answering questions with a model, because the model is the one running on your machine.
