What is ModelPiper?

ModelPiper is a visual AI pipeline builder. Use it live in your browser at modelpiper.com, or run it offline inside ToolPiper. ToolPiper is a macOS app that runs as an AI server on your Mac — bundled inference, OpenAI-compatible API, MCP server, voice, vision, browser automation, all on-device. ToolPiper powers ModelPiper's local features, but it's also an open backend: point any app, agent, or script at it and build whatever you want. Seriously, anything.

Does my data stay on my Mac?

Yes. Local models run fully on-device, with no network round-trip. When you connect cloud APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq), your keys are stored in the macOS Keychain and requests go directly from your Mac to the provider. We never see your prompts, responses, or keys.

What's free, and what's Pro?

Free includes local chat with the bundled model, basic voice and transcription, the visual pipeline builder, and all companion apps (VisionPiper, AudioPiper, MediaPiper). Pro ($10/mo) unlocks all nine inference backends, Apple Intelligence, the full voice suite, local RAG, all 147 MCP tools, multi-model switching, and unlimited model downloads.

What models can I run?

Anything llama.cpp supports (Llama, Qwen, Gemma, Mistral, and more) plus Apple Intelligence on supported Macs and any OpenAI-compatible cloud provider. ToolPiper filters the model catalog by your Mac's available memory so you only see models that'll actually run on your hardware.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Pro is a monthly or annual subscription with no commitment. Cancel from your Apple ID subscriptions (System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or the Stripe Customer Portal when web checkout ships. You keep access through the end of the billing period.
